🧭 Step 1: Visit the Salesforce Developer Site
🔗 Go to: https://developer.salesforce.com

👉 On the top-right, click “Browse Trials”
🗂️ Then click on “Browse All Trials”

Here, Salesforce offers both:

🌟 Product-based trials

🏭 Industry-based trials

We’ll use an Industry-Based Trial 💼

🏆 Step 2: Choose “Loyalty Management” (It Comes with Data Cloud!) 🎁
Scroll down to Loyalty Management Free Trial

Click 🔍 “Compare Two Trial Options” (optional)

Select ➕ “Loyalty Management Free Trial Learning Org”

Hit the big blue button: “Sign Up”

📝 Fill in your details:

👤 First Name, Last Name

💼 Job Title

📧 Email

🏢 Company Name

✅ Check the box to agree to terms, then click Start My Free Trial

📬 You’ll receive an activation email shortly!

🔎 Step 3: Verify Your Data Cloud Setup
After logging in:

Click the ⚙️ Gear Icon (top right)

Select “Data Cloud Setup”

📍 Important Note:
Orgs with Data Cloud will have two setups:

☁️ Data Cloud Setup

If everything worked, you’ll see:

✅ “Data Cloud is Ready to Use”

🎉 You’re on track!

🛠️ Step 4: Assign the Right Permission Sets 🔐
To let Data Cloud pull in CRM data, you must give it permission to access certain objects.

🔄 Here’s How:
Go to Setup

Search for 🔍 “Permission Sets”

Click on Salesforce Data Cloud Connector

📁 Step 5: Set Access for Each Object 🧩
Now we’ll give View All and Read Access to the right objects:

📇 1. Contact Object
Click: Contact

Click: Edit

✅ Enable:

View All Records

Read All Fields

Click: Save 💾

🧩 2. Contact Identifier
✅ Enable View All + Read All Fields

Click: Save

🅿️ 3. Parking Spaces
✅ View All + Read Fields

Click: Save

📅 4. Parking Reservations
✅ Same settings: View All + Read

Save ✔️

🆘 5. Case Object
✅ Enable View All + Read Fields

Hit Save
